Sanjana Ramesh captained the India U-16 side to a Division B victory in the FIBA Asia Cup held in Bengaluru, last year.

Sanjana Ramesh, 17, is one of India's brightest prospects in basketball. 2017 was a breakthrough year for the talented athlete. She led India's U-16 side to the Division B title in the FIBA Asia Cup and in the process helped the team, earn promotion to the top division. During the tournament, Sanjana averaged 6.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.

Under the watchful eyes of former NBA stars, Sanjana was voted the MVP at both the MBA Academy Women's camp and the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) camp women's division held in India earlier this year.

Her performances caught the eyes of scouts from across the globe, earning Sanjana a year-long scholarship programme with Northern Arizona University (NAU) women's team in the Northern American Division I college basketball.
