Indian archer Deepika Kumari bagged a silver medal in the women’s recurve event at the Archery World Cup here.
Deepika, who lost out to South Korea’s Misun Choi 6—2 in the final on Sunday night, thus bagged her fourth medal in five World Cup Finals.
Misun found the middle when she needed it, clinching a path through the brackets in the last sets.
The 19-year-old reeled off three 29—point sets to go 5—1 up and put Kumari on the back foot. Both archers had shot 28 in the first set.
Both then put in a 29 in the last and split the set points, and Choi grabbed hold of the gold.
