Promila, Muskan bag gold medals in archery at Asia Cup Stage I

Promila Daimary and Muskan Kirar have bagged women’s individual recurve and compound gold medals, respectively, in the Asia Cup Stage I.

20-year-old Promila beat World championship bronze medallist Natalia Erdynieva of Russia 7-3, while 17-year-old Muskan, a product of the Madhya Pradesh State Archery Academy, defeated Sazatul Zakaria of Malaysia 139-136 in the finals.

Gaurav Lambe (men’s individual recurve) and Madhu Vedwan (women’s individual recurve) claimed bronze medals.
