Asiad: Indian women’s sepaktakraw team loses to Thailand

The women’s team lost to Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam besides Thailand.

The Indian women’s sepak takraw team suffered a 0-2 loss against Thailand in a lop-sided contest in their final Quadrant Preliminary Group B match of the 18th Asian Games here on Thursday.

The Indian team’s disastrous campaign came to an end as they finished with four losses from as many games.

The women’s team lost to Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam besides Thailand.

Earlier, India had won a bronze in the men’s regu team event.
