The Indian canoeing contingent had another forgettable day at the Asian Games with the participants in the TBR 500m race failing to make an impact.

Both men and women failed to qualify for the medal race. In the tail race, they finished fourth and first respectively. The men’s race was won by Chinese Taipei and women by the united Korean outfit.

The women topped the tail race but they were still three seconds slower than their Singapore counterparts, who finished sixth and last in the main race.
