India women’s kabaddi team crushed Japan 43-12 to open its campaign at the 18th Asian Games in Group A, here, on Sunday.

It was one-way traffic from the word go as the women dominated the proceedings on the opening day of the competition. Japan struggled to get a grip on things, but the Indians were technically and physically more sound.
