Karam Jyoti bags bronze at World Para Athletics Championship

Jyoti pipped Bahrain's Alomari Raba for the podium finish, taking India's overall medal tally to three.

In a spectacular turn of events, India's Karam Jyoti bagged the Bronze medal at the last moment in the Women's Discus Throw F55 category at the World Para Athletics Championship in London.

With a throw of 19.02m, Jyoti made it to the podium overtaking Baharain's Alomari Roba, who threw at a distance of 19.01m.

Jyoti's win has taken India's overall medal tally to three.
