Aparna, Pranjali better national records

Karnataka high jumper Pavana Nagaraj (under-14 girls, 1.63m), MP long jumper Abhinash Kumar (under-14 boys, 6.84m), UP decathlete Sourabh Rathi (under-18 boys, 6955 pts) and Punjab’s 10,000m race walker Akshdeep Singh (under-20 boys, 40:47.78s) also broke national records.

Kerala’s Aparna Roy (under-18, 13.76s) and Maharashtra’s Pranjali Patil (under-16, 14.36s) broke the girls 100m hurdles national record in their respective age groups in the 34 National junior athletics championships at Ranchi on Saturday.
