Rohan Bopanna had a robust start for the season with his new partner Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France as the duo won back to back matches without dropping a set to make the semifinals of the $528,910 Sydney International ATP tennis tournament on Wednesday.
Bopanna and partner will challenge the top seeds Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Marcelo Melo of Brazil in the semifinals.
In the Challengers in Bangkok and Canberra, Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Divij Sharan made the doubles quarterfinals with their respective partners Christopher Rungkat of Indonesia and Jonathan Erlich of Israel.
