After the highs of 2014 where he won the US Open title beating Kei Nishikori, 2016 has turned out to be the most successful year for Croatian Marin Cilic. He reached a career-high No. 6 in the world after capturing his first ATP Masters 1000 title at Cincinnati. The year also saw him collecting his first ATP World Tour 500 title at Basel and leading Croatia to Davis Cup final.
