Leander Paes and his doubles partner Adil Shamasdin progressed to the semifinals of Antalya Open with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Carlos Berlocq and Joao Sousa on Wednesday.
But Divij Sharan and Purav Raja lost 7-6(9) 6-7(4) 10-4 to Croatia's Mate Pavic and Austria's Oliver Marach in a closely fought encounter and missed out on a chance to face Leander Paes in the semifinals.
Paes and his partner took just 50 minutes to decimate their opponents.
In the singles, Ramkumar Ramanathan had defeated Dominic Thiem to progress to the quarterfinals on Tuesday. He will play Marcos Baghdatis for a place in the semifinal on Thursday.
