BAI enters three-year contract with Yonex

The deal means Yonex supplying equipment for all the tournaments, camps and academies of the Badminton Association.

The deal works out to be about Rs. 75 crore for the three years.

The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has signed a three-year contract with Yonex Sunrise as the title sponsor for all its events.

The president of BAI, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced that the deal, which works out to about Rs. 75 crore for the three-year period, would mean Yonex supplying equipment for all the tournaments, camps
and academies of the Badminton Association. In return, Yonex will have the title sponsorship rights for all tournaments held under the aegis of the national federation.
