Kidambi Srikanth beats Misha Zilberman 13-21, 21-13, 21-16.
21-16 Finally, Srikanth seals the deal and this has been some comeback by the Indian after losing the first game. Was never going to be easy, but the World No. 10 forced the decider and then went on to win the third to progress ahead.
20-15 Srikanth has earned five match points but Zilberman has scored five consecutive points and is threatening to further close the gap.
17-10 Srikanth has made a tremendous comeback and although the Israeli is pocketing points, the gulf between the two is a seven point lead with the Indian on the advantage.
11-4 - Srikanth continues to maintain the lead at the break although he has allowed Zilberman to close in the gap after starting the decider with a five-point lead.
Meanwhile, after losing the first game, Srikanth went on to win the second and in the decider has taken a solid five-point lead against Misha Zilberman.
Saina Nehwal beats Soraya de Visch Eijbergen 21-10, 21-11.
20-11 Second Match Point and she wraps up in style in just 33 minutes to progress ahead.
20-10 Match Point. And Saina shames straight into the net.
16-9 Saina is being stretched but the Indian has managed to deceive her opponent with some long rallies and the occasional drop. Becoming easier as the game progresses.
Meanwhile Srikanth continues to impress as he now leads 17-10 against Misha and should be able to take the match to the decider.
11-6 A brilliant backhand drop allows Saina to maintain the lead with a five-point advantage. Although Soraya has made a strong comeback, the Indian has looked good and continues to dominate.
In the men's singles, Srikanth has entered the break with a four point lead 11-7 against Misha Zilberman.
6-4 For the first time in this match, Saina has conceded a point as Soraya in the second game is making amends with some fine deceptive shots. A baseline error helps the Dutch level the game but Saina is quick to take a two-point lead.
Meanwhile after losing the first game 13-21, K. Srikanth has managed to find some rhythm with a four point advantage in the second game.

20-19 - Game point and a powerful smash towards towards the right of the Dutch gives Saina the opening game. The 8th seed has looked in tremendous touch and her cross-court smashes were simply superb.
16-6 Meanwhile, Saina has gained a 10-point advantage and the Indian is looking in good touch with drop shots putting the Dutch in a lot of trouble.
Srikanth has lost the opening game to Misha Zilberman 21-13.
11-5 Saina enters the break with a six-point advantage and the Indian, although is looking a bit rusty, she is still getting her shots right.
Alert - Srikanth’s match against Misha Zilberman has begun and the latter leads the Indian 19-13.
7-4 A lovely smash towards the right end corner of the Dutch gives Saina a three-point advantage.
5-3 Saina has taken a slender two-point lead against her Dutch opponent and so far the Indian has relied on long rallies while the Dutch lacked control while playing her shots.
1-1 Saina induces an unforced error and that sees her gaining the first point of the match. Saina's husband P. Kashyap is present and is seated in the coaching seat.
1-0 Eijbergen takes the first point after a decent rally as Saina fails to parry one over the net.
We are all set for another thriller and this time Saina Nehwal will take on Dutch player Soraya de Visch Eijbergen. Saina had an openening round bye while the Dutch player had beaten Sabrina Jaquet 21-17, 21-15 in the first round.
P.V. Sindhu will take on Beiwen Zhang in the round of 16.
That's the match for Sindhu. She takes the second game 21-15 and the match, 21-14, 21-15.
Sindhu fights back. She opens up a three-point lead at 16-13. Another long rally ensues but Sindhu's up for the challenge and she leads 19-14.
Pai is not going down without a fight. A feisty rally ends with a Sindhu error as Pai draws level at 10-10. The Chinese has made good use of the smash shot in this game.
Sindhu continues to call the shots; she has already had two great challenges on the sideline. A mix of long rallies and deft net game gives Sindhu an 8-5 lead.
The fifth seed Sindhu goes into the second game with a 1-0 lead. After dominating the opening game, Sindhu has raced away to a 4-1 lead in the second.
There's the game for Sindhu: 21-14 . Pai recovered some ground in the latter half of the game but the early lead proved too strong to overcome.
Sindhu upping the ante now with a slew of powerful smashes. She has lost a couple of points due to an error but has opened up an eight point lead: 18-10.
Four straight points for PV Sindhu and she opens up a healthy lead. But Pai has broken serve serve with a return to catch Sindhu napping. The Indian, however, is holding on to her lead 14-8.
Sindhu’s reach is working in her favour but Pai’s nimble-heeled movement and crisp shot-making are keeping her in the hunt. Sindhu, though, leads 11-7 now.
Sindhu and Pai are engaging in long rallies... A couple of good backhand lifts from Pai while Sindhu is using her reach to good effect. It's 5-5 in the first game.
Pai Yu Po with the serve. Pai is leading 3-2 at the moment.
This is the third meeting between Sindhu and Pai Yu Po.
P. V. Sindhu will face Pai Yu Po in the women's singles second round at 16:30 IST. Her match will be followed by Saina Nehwal taking on the Netherlands' E. S. De Visch at 19:50 IST. Kidambi Srikanth will play Israel's Misha Zilberman at 22:30 IST.
- Men's singles: Ng Ka Long Angus beats Burestedt Felix 21-14 21-9 to secure his place in the quarterfinals of the BWF World Championships.
- Women's singles: Yufei Chen has secured her place in the women's singles third round with a straight-games, 21-14 21-19 victory over Chochuwong Pornpawee.
- Men's singles: In the first men's singles match of the day, Chou Tien Chen gets the better of Durkinjak Zvonimir in straight games, winning 21-14 21-10.

India's big guns - Saina Nehwal, P. V. Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth - will be in the women's and men's singles action on the third day of the World Championships. Saina and Sindhu got first-round byes and will take to the courts for the first time later today, with Srikanth overcoming a hard-fought match against Nhat Nguyen in the first round.
Among the Indian contingent, Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy (men's doubles), Ashwini Ponnappa and N. Sikki Reddy (women's doubles), M. R. Arjun and Ramachandran Shlok (men's doubles), and Poorvisha S. Ram and Meghana Jakkampudi (women's doubles) will be in doubles action.
