Doing their bit for Assam flood victims

Saina Nehwal has donated Rs one lakh to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the rehabilitation of the flood victims of Assam.

Badminton star Saina Nehwal has donated Rs one lakh for the rehabilitation of the flood victims of Assam.

The contribution was made to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to provide relief for the victims of the nature-hit tragedy.

Over 10 lakh people have been affected by the Assam floods, which claimed at least four lives.

Tennis ace Sania Mirza, too, took to twitter and urged her fans to help the victims of the flood. “Floods in Assam people in need of food,water,medicine and baby food.. Please join the campaign and help,” Sania tweeted. Her message was re-tweeted 296 times.
