India's Kidambi Srikanth trumped Hong Kong's WONG Wing Ki Vincent 21-19, 21-17.

This is Srikanth's second Super Series title in just as many weeks, taking his Super Series tally to six titles.

Srikanth wins 21-14, 21-13 and becomes the first Indian to win four Super Series titles in a calendar year.

21-13: Srikanth wraps it up in style! Sends a huge forehand smash down-the-line to clinch the French Open Super Series.

18-12: Srikanth is now a mere three points from glory!

16-9: Srikanth loses a scintillating rally but is now only five points shy of the French Open title!

13-7: Srikanth looking to run away with the game now but Nishimoto is holding on and not giving away any easy points.

10-5: Nishimoto trying to claw his way back into this final. Wins three continuous points to reduce his deficit to three.

8-2: Nishimoto seems to be losing the plot here as Srikanth expands his lead to six points now.

4-1: Srikanth races a 4-1 lead. Nishimoto looks rather fatigued now.

Today's final is definitely more competitive than Srikanth's previous final against Lee Hyun Il at the Denmark Open. It remains to be seen if Srikanth will enjoy the same result.

21-14: And that seals it. Srikanth takes the first game 21-14 and is only a game way from his fourth Super Series title of the year.

18-12: WHAT A SMASH! Yet another huge one, giving Srikanth a formidable six-point lead.

Srikanth sending Nishimoto all across the court, making life difficult for the Japanese player.

14-11: Now that's more like it! Srikanth finding form and continues to remain in the lead, courtesy of a couple of more massive smashes.

Srikanth's down-the-line smashes have been his biggest weapon so far.

11-9: Srikanth brings his A game to the court and scalps six straight points to take a 11-9 lead.

9-6: Rare unforced errors from Srikanth concede three points and Nishimoto takes a three-point lead.

5-5: Two huge forehand smashes and a clever drop shot bring Srikanth back into the tie. Scores level at 5 each.

3-2: Nishimoto starts strong and claims three points on the trot to take an early lead.

The players are out and we're in for an exciting evening of badminton. Sit tight and stay tuned for live updates.

Twenty-three year old Nishimoto is in his first Super Series final and has been on a giant-killing spree, defeating Anthony Sinisuka and Sai Praneeth in the earlier rounds.  He got past Anders Antonsen 21-17, 21-15 in the semis to reach Sunday's final.

The ace Indian shuttler crawled from a game down to beat H. S. Prannoy 14-21, 21-19, 21-18 in Saturday's clash, earning himself a place in today's final.

Srikanth has been in stellar form after his Denmark Open triumph last week , where he thwarted Lee Hyun Il in all of 25 minutes, clinching his third Super Series of the year.
