The Smashers won the men’s doubles, women’s singles and the second men’s singles to gather four points, including the bonus point from the Santoso-Gurusaidutt concluding match of the day. The 30-year-old Santoso is currently ranked 113 in the WBF list. The PBL concluded in the city with a win each for Mumbai Rockets, Hyderabad Hunters and Chennai Smashers. Cine actors Vijaykanth and Akshay Kumar (Brand Ambassador of the PBL, and co-owner, Mumbai Rockets) saw the late evening match between the Smashers and Rockets.
