P.V. Sindhu entered round two of All England Championship after beating Pornpawee Chochuwong of Thailand 20-22, 21-17, 21-9 on Wednesday.
Sindhu had early jitters as she conceded the first game after a tough fight, but clawed back in the next two without giving any chance to the Thai shuttler for a comeback.
Chochuwong did put up some resistance in the second game, however, in the third it was Sindhu who blanked her 21-9 to clinch the match.
