In a match that lasted 37 minutes, the World No. 4 cruised to victory in the first game before Wing Ki Vincent came from behind to make life difficult for the Denmark champion. However, the 24-year-old held fort to win the second game and the match.

Praneeth bows out

Meanwhile, Sai Praneeth lost to Japan's Kenta Nishimoto 13-21, 17-21 in a match that lasted a little over 40 minutes.
