Amjyot Singh Gill to take part in FIBA world event

In a first for India, Amjyot Singh Gill is all set to compete at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Finals to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on October 27 and 28.

Amjyot will be part of an international city-based side from Japan (Team Hamamatsu), comprising two other Indian origin players in Bikramjit Gill (Canada) and Inderbir Singh Gill (United States), and Chihiro Ikeda (Japan).

In a first for India, Amjyot Singh Gill is all set to compete at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Finals to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on October 27 and 28.

It was only last week that the 24-year-old had signed the standard NBA Developmental League player contract making him eligible for the D-League draft. Amjyot will be flying to the United States for the draft which will be held on October 30.
