Russell Westbrook made NBA history by recording 35 points, a season-high 21 assists and 14 rebounds as the host Washington Wizards earned a 132-124 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
It was the NBA's first-ever 35-point, 20-point triple-double.
Rui Hachimura had 26 points and eight rebounds and Chandler Hutchison added 18 points off the bench for the Wizards, who played without NBA leading scorer Bradley Beal (right hip contusion). Washington won its second in a row after losing eight of its previous nine.
Domantas Sabonis recorded 35 points and 11 rebounds and Malcolm Brogdon added 26 points for the Pacers.
Miami Heat 98 - New York Knicks 88
Jimmy Butler scored 15 of his game-high 27 points during a decisive third quarter as Miami snapped a six-game losing streak by beating host New York.
Bam Adebayo had 20 points and 17 rebounds for the Heat, who won despite the absence of trade-deadline acquisition Victor Oladipo, whose debut was delayed because of a head cold. Tyler Herro scored 18 points off the bench as Miami ended its longest losing skid since the 2016-17 season.
Julius Randle scored 22 points and was the lone starter in double figures for the Knicks, whose three-game winning streak ended. Derrick Rose added 16 points.
Los Angeles Clippers 129 - Milwaukee Bucks 105
Marcus Morris Sr. scored 25 points and Kawhi Leonard added 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as host Los Angeles dominated the second half and beat Milwaukee for its sixth straight win.
Luke Kennard scored a season-high 21 points while starting for injured Paul George (foot). He was 8 of 11 from the field and 5 of 6 from 3-point range, with four of his treys coming in rapid succession in the final quarter.
Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points in his return from a one-game absence caused by a knee injury. Jrue Holiday recorded 24 points, seven assists and three steals and Khris Middleton added 15 points for the Bucks, who lost their third straight game.
Dallas Mavericks 127 - Oklahoma City Thunder 106
Luka Doncic had 25 points and seven assists to help Dallas snap a two-game losing streak with a win at Oklahoma City.
Kristaps Porzingis added 20 points and nine rebounds, going 9 of 15 from the floor. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19. The Mavericks tied a season high with 51 field goals while shooting 53.1 percent.
Oklahoma City has lost three in a row, tying its longest skid of the season. Aleksej Pokusevski led the Thunder with 21 points.
Brooklyn Nets 112 - Minnesota Timberwolves 107
James Harden totaled 38 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds as Brooklyn held on to defeat Minnesota in New York.
Harden posted his 12th triple-double of the season, all since joining the Nets, tying the franchise record set by Jason Kidd in 2006-07 and matched by Kidd the following season. Kyrie Irving added 27 points and seven rebounds after missing the previous three games due to a family matter, and the Nets won for the 18th time in 21 games.
Karl-Anthony Towns paced the Timberwolves with 31 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots. He scored 14 points in the fourth quarter when Minnesota nearly came all the way back. Rookie Anthony Edwards added 23 and 10 rebounds.
New Orleans Pelicans 115 - Boston Celtics 109
Zion Williamson scored 28 points and Brandon Ingram added 25 as visiting New Orleans defeated Boston.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 17, Josh Hart had 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Pelicans, who made 16 of 31 3-point attempts and completed a sweep of the season series. Jayson Tatum scored 34 and Kemba Walker had 23 for the Celtics, who was beginning a seven-game homestand.
Celtics All-Star guard Jaylen Brown did not play because of a hip contusion. Evan Fournier made his Boston debut after being acquired in a trade with Orlando last Thursday and missed all 10 of his shots and wound up scoreless in 33 minutes.
Memphis Grizzlies 120 - Houston Rockets 110
Jonas Valanciunas recorded 30 points and 15 rebounds to help Memphis notch a victory at Houston.
De'Anthony Melton scored a season-best 23 points and fellow reserve Desmond Bane added 17 as Memphis won for the fourth time in the past six games. Dillon Brooks also scored 17 points and Ja Morant contributed 12 points and eight assists.
Kelly Olynyk scored a season-best 25 points and collected nine rebounds in his second game for Houston since being acquired from the Miami Heat. Standout Christian Wood missed his second straight game due to illness as the Rockets lost for the 23rd time in the past 25 games.
Detroit Pistons 118 - Toronto Raptors 104
Hamidou Diallo had 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks as host Detroit thumped Toronto to complete a sweep of a three-game season series.
Diallo was playing in his second game with Detroit since he was acquired from Oklahoma City earlier this month. Saddiq Bey and Saben Lee also scored 19 points apiece and combined for nine assists for the Pistons, who had lost four straight. Detroit's reserves outscored Toronto's bench 65-24.
Fred VanVleet had 22 points for the Raptors, who have lost 12 of their past 13 games.
Sacramento Kings 132 - San Antonio Spurs 115
De'Aaron Fox scored 24 points and Richaun Holmes added 23 points and 12 rebounds as Sacramento topped host San Antonio for its season-high fifth straight win.
The Kings led by 19 points in the third quarter before San Antonio pulled within 104-101 early in the fourth. Sacramento then ripped off a 12-2 run to build its lead back to 13 points and never let the Spurs back to within 10 points down the stretch.
Buddy Hield added 20 points for the Kings while Tyrese Haliburton scored 15 points and dished out 10 assists. Dejounte Murray had 23 points while Derrick White scored 19 for San Antonio, which has lost five of its past six games.
Utah Jazz 114 - Cleveland Cavaliers 75
Rudy Gobert contributed 18 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks and Donovan Mitchell had a team-high 19 points as Utah cruised to its sixth straight win, crushing Cleveland in Salt Lake City.
Mike Conley was the only other Jazz player to reach double figures -- 18 points on 5-of-9 shooting -- as Utah went to its bench early and ended up with 14 players entering the scoring column.
It was the Jazz's eighth wire-to-wire win, and Utah tied a franchise record with its 20th straight home victory.
Golden State Warriors 116 - Chicago Bulls 102
Stephen Curry returned from a five-game absence to lead all scorers with 32 points, guiding Golden State to a victory over Chicago in San Francisco.
Curry, who watched the Warriors lose four of five games while nursing a bruised tailbone, connected on six 3-pointers and shot 11-for-24 overall en route to his 18th 30-point game of his season.
Nikola Vucevic, who burned Golden State for 30 and 25 points in two meetings while with the Orlando Magic earlier in the season, paced the Bulls with 21 points.
