Thomas Lott 31 August, 2019 11:18 IST ordon was coming into the final year of the four-year deal he signed with the Rockets in 2016 and is now locked up for the next five years and will make roughly $90 million. - (Getty Images) Thomas Lott 31 August, 2019 11:18 IST Houston's backcourt is solidified.The Rockets agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $75.6 million with guard Eric Gordon, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle.Gordon was coming into the final year of the four-year deal he signed with the Rockets in 2016 and is now locked up for the next five years and will make roughly $90 million.The Rockets has not yet confirmed the deal.The 30-year-old has averaged 16.8 points and 3.2 3-pointers made per game in his three years in Houston.He was the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2016-17.The Rockets is coming off of a season where tt to the Warriors in six games of the Western Conference semifinals, and since then Houston has both changed up its backcourt and cemented it.Houston traded Chris Paul to the Thunder for Russell Westbrook and has now secured Gordon.Westbrook, Gordon and 2017-18 MVP James Harden are now all locked up through at least the 2022-23 season, though both Westbrook and Harden have player options that year.
