Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller square up at the media conference in London.

Jarrell Miller took another swipe at Anthony Joshua ahead of their heavyweight title bout by suggesting Tyson Fury is a more popular boxer in the United Kingdom.

Joshua will make his American debut at Madison Square Garden on June 1 when he defends his IBF, WBA and WBO world titles against fellow undefeated fighter Miller.

Monday's London media conference was a calmer affair than the fiery one the pair held in New York last week, where Miller shoved Joshua. But there was still plenty of tough talking from both men, with Miller indicating that Joshua's belts count for little in the popularity stakes after Fury's thrilling December draw with WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

"He's not the popular one anymore," Miller said. "I'm hearing 'Tyson Fury, Tyson Fury'.

"I've been hearing it from the fans, they say 'AJ's too posh'. I'm for all the underdogs out there. For those who are told they're not good enough, too fat, don't listen, I'm proven fact, you can go real far. Let's go to work.

"I don't need to think I just get it done. You've got to go balls to wall, if I ever doubted myself I wouldn't have made it so far. My mental focus and grind is unmatched. The plan is to stop him in seven rounds."

Joshua gave no credence to Miller's bold prediction, vowing to do significant physical damage to the Brooklyn native.

"It's just another opponent, you need a dancing partner and Jarrell's a good dancing partner," Joshua said.

"June 2 Jarrell will be irrelevant and we move on. All the spirit that boy's got, talking s***, I'm going to strip it from him. I'm going to strip him of his soul. I'm going to rearrange his face. I'm going to reconstruct his face and his body."
