25 junior cricketers join NCA camp in Bangalore

Twenty five junior cricketers selected from five zones have joined the annual U-16 camp of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Twenty five junior cricketers selected from five zones have joined the annual U-16 camp of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

The month-long camp, which started on Monday, will host 25 selected players who have been hand-picked via a meticulous process that started with zonal camps leading to inter-zonal tournament from which the final cricketers were sent for the NCA camp. Zonal Camps were conducted from April 22 to May 21 at Dharamsala, Baroda, Jaipur, Hubli and Ranchi. A total of 25 players participated from each zone.

15 players from each zone were selected for the inter-zonal tournament held at Hubli, Belgaum from May 24 to June 6.
