Corey Anderson struck 10 sixes in his whirlwind knock.

Corey Anderson cut a relieved figure after returning to form with a record-breaking innings that helped New Zealand complete a Twenty20 whitewash of Bangladesh. The all-rounder came into the final match after scores of 13 and four in the series, but eased the pressure with a blistering 94 not out off just 41 deliveries in Mount Maunganui.

Anderson's unbeaten innings included 10 sixes - a record for any New Zealand player in a Twenty20 - as he dominated the Bangladesh bowling attack en route to the Black Caps posting 194 for 4. New Zealand's bowlers did their job with the ball by restricting the tourist to 167 for 6 to seal a > 27-run win , but the day undoubtedly belonged to Anderson.

''I've been out in the wilderness with international cricket but it was nice, after two low scores to come back and get a decent total," he said.

''You always have times when you have form slumps, periods when you're not scoring runs and you start questioning yourself - [whether it's] technique or 'what am I thinking'. Those processes get at ease when you do something like that, you can relax and feed off that and get a bit of rhythm into other games. What we've done over the last few days, with different guys putting hands up at different times, has been the most pleasing thing."

The two sides will now play Test matches in Wellington and Christchurch to complete Bangladesh's visit, with the host looking to complete a tour whitewash having won the one-day and T20 series 3-0.
