Ashwin to lead India A in Deodhar Trophy

Ravichandran Ashwin will lead India A in the Deodhar Trophy, which will be played in Dharamsala from March 4-8.The BCCI also named the Rest of India squad for the Irani Cup, which will be played in Nagpur from March 14-18.

Mohammad Shami will also feature for India A, while India B will be captained by Shreyas Iyer. The two teams will face off against Karnataka—which won the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Tuesday.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday also named the Rest of India squad for the Irani Cup, which will be played in Nagpur from March 14-18. While Karun Nair has been named the skipper of Rest of India, the side will also feature Ravindra Jadeja.

The team will take on Ranji Trophy champion Vidarbha.
