Chandigarh earthquake: Gujarat Lions evacuated from hotel

Ahead of its first match against Kings XI Punjab in Chandigarh on Monday, the tremors of an earthquake in Afghanistan forced Gujarat Lions to evacuate its hotel.

Gujarat Lions, led by Suresh Raina (in picture), will play its first match against Kings XI Punjab.

Members of Gujarat Lions team were evacuated from their hotel after tremors were felt in Chandigarh.

Ahead of its first match against Kings XI Punjab in Chandigarh on Monday, the tremors of an earthquake in Afghanistan forced Gujarat Lions to evacuate its hotel.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 struck the Hindukush region in northern Afghanistan in the afternoon on Sunday.
