M.S. Dhoni, it seems, is retracing his steps. His days as a ticket collector at Kharagpur and his journey towards being the Indian captain in all formats of the game have been well chronicled in the eponymous movie M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story. Now that he has retired from Test cricket and has stepped down from the captaincy of the limited overs teams, Dhoni has lesser burden on his shoulders and he is certainly making the most of this phase of his cricketing life. Named Jharkhand skipper for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Dhoni decided to travel from Ranchi to Kolkata with his State team-mates on the Hatia-Howrah Karmayogi Express, stumping one and all.

Dhoni, who prefers travelling in his Hummer, decided to travel by train so that he could interact with the young players better. Star-struck just like the cricket fans, his Jharkhand team-mates couldn’t stop themselves from clicking multiple selfies with their Captain Cool.

Travelling in train after 13 years, the former India captain made the most of the trip. A Jharkhand cricketer, part of the lucky brigade to travel with Dhoni, expressed his awe. “It was a long journey and Mahi bhai spoke to us throughout. It's not everyday that you get to travel with a superstar," he said. Dhoni can be seen here enjoying his cuppa.

The news of Dhoni travelling by train broke out after the Jharkhand skipper posted a picture on Instagram. Naturally, the usually crowded Howrah station had more unscheduled visitors who flocked the platform trying to catch a glimpse of Dhoni as he deboarded the train along with team-mates.
