Former India cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar was on Saturday elected as the Indian Cricketers’ Association’s male representative on the BCCI apex council. He defeated Ashok Malhotra 402-230 in the election.

Meanwhile, Shubhangi Kulkarni has been elected unopposed as the female cricketers’ representative.
