After Abhishek Nayar, Pankaj Singh and Paras Dogra, the new domestic team Puducherry has signed X. Thalaivan Sargunam who has played in the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Puducherry also on Tuesday released a list of 18 players for the Vijay Hazare trophy, its first domestic event. Rohit Damodaren, who led Siechem Madurai Panthers to the TNPL title earlier this year, has been named the captain.

The CAP also called for players born in or employed (or studying) in Pondicherry, Karaikkal, Yanam & Mahe districts to register on www.cap-cricket.com . Registration is open till September 10.
