Ashwin's move to MRC 'A' might prove to be the big inter-club move the coming season.

India off-spinning all-rounder R. Ashwin could leave Jolly Rovers and join the newly-promoted MRC ‘A’ in the TNCA first division league this season. This might prove to be the big inter-club move the coming season.

Ashwin plays for Dindigul Dragons in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). And both Dragons and MRC 'A’ are owned by Take Solutions.

Sportstar has learnt from sources that leg-spinner M. Ashwin (from Grand Slam) and India `A’ wicket-keeper batsman Bharat Srikar (Young Stars) might also shift to MRC `A.’

Young batsman Shahrukh Khan may travel from Jolly Rovers to Vijay CC.

There were reports of Abhinav Mukund going over to MRC `A’ from Vijay but the India top-order batsman has denied any such development. “I will stay loyal to Vijay, I am not moving anywhere else. I have been enjoying my time at the club.”

Ahead of a fresh season, things are getting busy in the TNCA first division transfers.
