4:40 pm: Dinda finally gets a wicket. Shorey 12 (33) caught by Goswami; Delhi 247/2. Nitish Rana, the IPL wonder boy, is out in the middle.

4:30 pm: And that's a maiden over. Shami 19-2-74-0 has had an average day on the field today; Delhi 240/1.

4:25 pm: Shami starts his third spell, Shorey is on strike. This could be the last attempt by Tiwary to find some breakthroughs in order to start afresh on Day 3.

3:54 pm: B Amit breaks the partnership, Chandela c Goswami b Amit 113 (192), Delhi 232/1.

3:50 pm: At the end of 60 overs, Delhi 232/0; Gambhir 116 (173), Chandela 113 (187).

3:20 pm: CHANCE! Shami to Gambhir; the inside edge almost got to the stumps; Delhi 226/0.

3:00 pm: Shami starts his second spell. The experienced India bowler couldn't turn things around this morning. But a couple of wickets now could cause a stir.

2:30 pm: Chandela brings up his century, 100 in 150 balls; Delhi 216/0.

1:59 pm: Gambhir brings up his century, 101 runs in 122 balls  (18x4, 0x6); Delhi 172/0.

1:30 pm! And that's 150-up for Delhi; Gambhir 87 (108), K Chandela 66 (91).

1:15 pm: There is no stopping Gambhir and Chandela, both the openers look poised and set for a century; Gambhir 72 (86), Chandela 62 (78); Delhi 134/0.

12:50 pm: Half-century for Chandela 52 off 69 balls, Delhi 107/0.

12:40 pm: Gambhir brings up his 50 off 68 balls; Delhi 97/0.

11:40 am: Gambhir is racing away towards a 50. The experienced southpaw has already hit eight fours in his innings so far.

11:10 am: At the end of 10 overs, Delhi 37/0; Gambhir 19 (26), Chandela 18 (34).

10:45 am: Both the openers look in good touch. At the end of seven overs, Delhi 25/0. Bengal has Mohammed Shami in its ranks, who is sharing the new ball with Ashok Dinda.

10:20 am: Gautam Gambhir and Kunal Chandela are out in the middle. Delhi has a good chance to pace their innings and aim for a lead.

3:50 pm: Karnataka now leads Vidarbha by 100 runs; Nair 140 (248), V Kumar 19 (69); 285/8.

3:14 pm: Vinay Kumar 13 (40) has put a price on his wicket. Nair 128 (227), on the other hand, is playing an innings to remember. Karnataka now lead Vidarbha by 82 runs.

3:00 pm: Karnataka 263/8, lead By 78 Runs, Vinay Kumar R 11(34) Karun Nair 127(223).

1:50 pm: Sarvate picks up Mithun 10 (25); Karnataka 225/8.

1:35 pm: Karun Nair reaches his century. What a brilliant knock under pressure and crucial circumstances. When he came in to bat, Karnataka was three down for 17; Nair 100 (181), Karnataka 223/7.

1:07 pm: At the end of 60 overs, Karnataka 202/7; lead by 18 runs.

And that's a fifer for Gurbani!

11:20 am: Gautam is looking to play a bigger innings here, unbeaten on 71, he is finding the gaps and rotating the strike. Smart cricket by Karnataka. They wouldn't want to lose a wicket before lunch.

10:52 am: And that's a half-century for Nair too. He reaches his 50 in 98 balls, Karnataka 133/3.
