Ranji Trophy: Day three of Hyderabad-Maharashtra match abandoned due to rain again

With heavy rains lashing the City late on Saturday night, whatever hopes the ground-staff had of ensuring at least a late start were washed away following another heavy downpour in the afternoon.

Wet ground conditions forced the abandonment of the third day’s play also on Sunday in the four-day Ranji Trophy Group A match between Hyderabad and Gymkhana Ground here.

The way the ground looked late on Sunday evening, play seems unlikely even tomorrow and it can well be a complete wash out, dampening the mood of both the teams.
