When Bihar takes on Meghalaya in a Ranji Trophy Plate group fixture in Shillong on Friday, it will be relying heavily on its in-form batsmen Indrajit Kumar and Babul Kumar. The side, which has 14 points from four matches, is confident of keeping the momentum going against Meghalaya, which sits pretty in the second position.
Bihar coach, Subroto Banerjee, believes that the side is buoying with confidence. "With the batsmen in form, we can hopefully make it count in Shillong. Meghalaya is a tough opponent but we believe in our abilities," Banerjee said. On the other hand, Meghalaya, which has 19 points from five games, is also confident. With most of its players in good form, the side will be hoping to make the most of the home advantage.

Bihar, however, will miss out on the services of its regular captain Pragyan Ojha, who is still recovering from a stiff shoulder.
In the other fixtures of the group, table-topper Uttarakhand will take on Nagaland in Dehradun, while Mizoram will take on Sikkim in Jorhat. In Goalpara, Puducherry will face Arunachal Pradesh. The Rajat Bhatia-led Uttarakhand will be hoping to maintain its unbeaten run and inch closer to the next stage.
