Ranji Trophy Semifinals: Binny, Nischal likely to return for Karnataka

As Karnataka gears up for the Ranji Trophy semifinal fixture against Vidarbha at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata , it could get back the services of two experienced members — Stuart Binny and Dega Nischal.

Despite starting the tournament on a high, Nischal missed out on the quarterfinals against Mumbai, while it was a similar story for Binny.

But speaking to Sportstar on Tuesday, Karnataka coach P. V. Shashikanth admitted that there are high possibilities of the two players returning to the side for the semifinal. “They could not play the quarterfinal and both of them should be back for the game in Kolkata,” Shashikanth said.

While the two are expected to return to the side, there is, however, no clarity on whether K. L. Rahul will be available for the important fixture.
