The Vidarbha Cricket Association on Tuesday announced that it would give Rs 3 crore to the Ranji Trophy winning team. Apart from this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will give Rs 2 crore as the prize money.
“This is a great moment for Vidarbha cricket, and the association will give Rs 3 crore to the players,” Anand Jaiswal, president of VCA, said on Monday.

It is learnt that a felicitation ceremony could also be organised later to celebrate the historic win. The team will be in Indore on Tuesday, before leaving for Nagpur the next day.
