11:12am ALL OVER! Dharmendrasinh Jadeja holes out in the deep and Vidarbha successfully defends its title. The players and coach, Chandrakant Pandit, ecstatically run onto the field of play and the party begins. It wins the final by 78 runs.

11:01am OUT! Jaydev Unadkat is out lbw to Aditya Sarwate. He misses the ball playing the sweep and is hit on the back leg, in line with the stump. Saurashtra 123 for nine, needs a further 83 runs.

10:38am OUT! A potential clincher for Vidarbha with Aditya Sarwate trapping Vishvaraj Jadeja right in front. He is out lbw for 52, Saurashtra now 103 for eight, with captain Jaydev Unadkat walking in to join Dharmendrasinh Jadeja.

10:30am Vishvaraj Jadeja brings up his half-century and takes Saurashtra past 100. It is now 103 for seven, needs a further 103 runs.

10:07am OUT, one brings two! Prerak Mankad departs for 2, out lbw to Akshay Wakhare. Mankad got into an awkward position and played for the turn. But the ball was not meant to turn and it pitches and goes straight on, wrapping Mankad on his back leg. Umpire Chettithody Shamshuddin has no hesitation. Saurashtra 91 for seven, needs a further 115 runs.

Our correspondent at the venue, Wriddhaayan Bhattacharyya, says: Sarwate is clearly a great find for Vidarbha. The moment when it looked like Saurashtra has settled down. The man rolls his golden arm over to run through Kamlesh Makvana’s gate. It is strange that the batsman didn’t go for a shot, his bat lift allowed the ball to sneak in. And while I write this, Wakhare has trapped Prerak Mankad. The replay says it was going outside off.  Three wickets to history! Vidarbha is all pumped up.

10:03am Kamlesh Makvana misjudges the line of an Aditya Sarwate delivery and doesn't offer a shot. The ball pitched just on off stump and goes on with the arm to hit top of off. Gone for 14, Saurashtra 88 for six, needs a further 118 runs.

9:47am Umesh Yadav is bowling quick and getting the ball to reverse. Kamlesh Makvana and Vishvaraj Jadeja are having to be watchful. Life's not easy at the other end either, with the two other wicket-takers in the innings, Aditya Sarwate and Akshay Wakhare, rotating.

9:34am Three fours in the first four overs of the day, taking Saurashtra to 74 for five. It needs a further 132 runs.
