Medium-pacer Harshal Patel bagged a five-wicket haul as Haryana bowled out Jammu and Kashmir for a paltry 75 and cantered to a 10-wicket win in a Group B match.

Electing to bat at the Alur Cricket Stadium, Jammu and Kashmir batsmen looked all at sea against Harshal's controlled swing bowling and Amit Mishra's spin as the bowling duo shared eight wickets between them to wrap up the innings in 22 overs.

Off-spinner Jayant Yadav also bagged two wickets as batsman Bandeep Singh top-scored with 24 runs while No.9 Zahoor Sofi remained unbeaten on 20.

The innings saw five ducks including skipper Mithun Manhas and wicketkeeper-batsman Ian Dev Singh, who fell to Harshal's pace and swing.

Maharashtra beat Tripura by 111 runs after Jadhav ton

Maharashtra notched up a comfortable 111-run win over Tripura after Kedar Jadhav hit a quick-fire hundred in a Group C match.

After opting to bat first, Maharashtra skipper Jadhav smashed 131 off just 90 balls at the Air Force Ground at Palam, to guide his team to 294 (all out) 49.4 overs.

In reply, Tripura were bundled out for 183 runs in 49.5 overs.

Even as wickets fell at regular intervals, Jadhav was unperturbed and kept up the scoring rate, hitting 17 fours and three sixes.

Jiwanjot, Siddana star in Punjab's six-wicket win over Tamil Nadu

Opener Jiwanjot Singh struck 85 while Mayank Siddana hit a run-a-ball 67 in Punjab's comfortable six-wicket win against Tamil Nadu in a Group A game.

Tamil Nadu were all out for 226 in 45.3 overs with Dinesh Karthik top-scoring with 69 off 93 balls on a slowish track at the Gymkhana ground.

Pacer Siddharth Kaul was again the best bowler on view with 4/17 in 8 overs while Brainder Sran took 3/37. Skipper Harbhajan Singh got the important wicket of Murali Vijay (35).
