Welcome to the highlights of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This was Santadeep Dey bringing you all the action as it unfurled across the six centres in India.

HIGHLIGHTS

Baroda vs Chhattisgarh: Two overs to go. 31 runs to get. Will Chhattisgarh be able to cross the finish line? It all depends on Ajay Mandal who has just reached a quickfire fifty.

Tripura vs Goa: Having lost five wickets for 110, Goa was in a spot of bother until opener KD Eknath and Darshan Misal struck up a crucial partnership. Presently, even as the side is only 11 away from a victory, Eknath is nine and Misal six short of their respective century and half-century. Mathematically, it is possible for both to get to their individual marks. Time to wait and watch! Goa 206/5. UPDATE: Too little too late for Tripura as Eknath fell for 92. Misal went on to get his fifty as Goa comfortably took home four points.

Gujarat vs Hyderabad: Hyderabad loses five for 43 runs as Gujarat moves to the very brink of a big win. Hyderabad 196/9 in 43 overs.

Karnataka vs Kerala: Back-to-back hundreds for Devdutt Padikkal! Karnataka 237/1 in 41.5 overs.

Tamil Nadu vs Jharkhand: Jharkhand's sorry-looking scorecard narrates the whole story - Virat Singh and Sumit Kumar are the only two bastmen in the 40s, Anukul Roy and Bal Krishna have registered between 10-20 runs and all other batsmen have single-digit scores. Jharkhand 145/9 in 42.5 overs.

Karnataka vs Kerala: Batting on 82 off 99, Devdutt Padikkal seems to be comfortably cruising towards another hundred. Meanwhile, Krishnamurthy Siddharth, on 52, is providing the RCB youngster able company. Karnataka 200/1 in 33.1 overs, needs 78 runs.

Railways vs Uttar Pradesh: Pacer Shivam Mavi does the honours and gifts his side its first wicket just when the partnership between Mrunal Devdhar and Pratham Singh was starting to bother UP a bit. Railways 51/1 in 8.4 overs.

Madhya Pradesh vs Andhra: Ashwin Hebbar's unbeaten 101 against TN on Monday seems like a long time ago especially after back-to-back failures against Punjab (1, 9b) and now MP (6, 13b). Oh, no! Andhra captain and India's Sydney superstar Hanuma Vihari's gone as well. He has registered scores of 2, 2, and 1 in his last three List A matches. Andhra 20/2 in 7 overs.

Baroda vs Chhattisgarh: Lukman Meriwala has Shashank Chandrakar caught behind for 12 as Chhattisgarh receives a telling blow! Chhattisgarh 25/1 in 3.1 overs.

Gujarat vs Hyderabad: It takes medium-pacer Arzan Nagwaswalla only six deliveries to get the better of Hyderabad opener Tilak Varma. Hyderabad 0/1 in 2 overs.

Tamil Nadu vs Jharkhand: "TN won't go down without a fight!" And off-spinner Baba Aparajith plays message-bearer when he strikes off the very first ball of the Jharkhand innings. It is none other than captain Ishan Kishan who has to take the long walk back to the dugout. Jharkhand 0/1 in 0.1 overs.

Vidarbha vs Punjab: Wicketkeeper Akshay Wadkar, having taken over the responsibility from skipper Faiz to keep the scoreboard ticking, registers a well-deserved fifty off 46 balls. Vidarbha 290/9 in 50 overs.

Tripura vs Goa: Arjun Debnath and Parvez Sultan add crucial 30 runs for the ninth wicket before the former departs for 25. Tripura 205/9 in 48 overs.

Baroda vs Chhattisgarh: Absolute 'Pandya-monium' at the C K Pithawala Ground in Surat as the captain gets his hundred! Despite the occasional scares, Krunal and Vishnu Solanki (78, 99b) have done well to silence the Chhattisgarh bowlers and emerge as the main architects of this Baroda innings. Baroda 249/6 in 45 overs.

Priyam-GargJPG
UPDATE: 360-degree batting by Priyam Garg before he fell for 115(99).
