Parthiv Patel is hopeful of playing the last three Vijay Hazare limited-overs matches for Gujarat.

Patel hurt his right index finger on the fourth day of the third Test against South Africa at The Wanderers, Johannesburg. Dinesh Karthik — flown in as a substitute — kept wickets in the last session on the fourth day of the third Test that India won.

“I plan to leave for Chennai on February 9. I should be fine by the match on February 11 (against Rajasthan),'' said Patel.

Gujarat will also play Andhra on February 12 and Goa on February 14.
