Eden Gardens will be ready to host the Indian Premier League qualifiers, if Pune misses out.

The Eden Gardens will host the one-off T20 between India and West Indies on November 4 this year.

The team from the Caribbean will visit India for a full-fledged tournament between October and November. West Indies’ tour of India will have three Tests, five ODIs and one-off T20.

“We will host the Caribbean team for the one-off T20 international at the Eden Gardens,” Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) chief Sourav Ganguly said on Saturday.

The former India captain also made it clear that Eden Gardens will be ready to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) qualifiers, if Pune misses out. On Friday, the BCCI had awarded the eliminator and the second qualifier to the Maharashtra Cricket Association.
