Plunkett is a doubtful starter for England's warm-up game against the Prime Minister's XI on Friday. He picked up an injury in the third one-dayer in Sydney.

Alex Hales with an injured hand and Chris Jordan having a hamstring niggle are also set to miss the warm-up match on Friday.

However, all the injured players are expected to recover before the first T20I in Hobart on February 7.
