After a sensational Indian Premier League season, West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell had a disappointing outing against Australia in an unofficial World Cup warm-up match.

West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell, on Wednesday, had a disappointing maiden outing in England when he was cleaned up by Adam Zampa for a meagre score of five in the unofficial World Cup warm-up match between Australia and the West Indies in Southampton.

Russell is coming on the back of an exceptional Indian Premier League season with the Kolkata Knight Riders where he hammered 510 runs in 14 matches at a strike-rate of 204.81.

The marauding right-hander struck 52 sixes and 31 fours during the T20 campaign which also saw him make good use of his medium pace.
