Imran Tahir surpassed Allan Donald (38 wickets) to become South Africa's leading wicket-taker in cricket World Cup history.
He was two wickets away from the milestone and he achieved it during South Africa's match against Pakistan at Lord's on Sunday. He reached the milestone with the wickets of Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman.
Earlier in the tournament, team-mate Hashim Amla had achieved the landmark of becoming the second fastest to 8000 runs in ODIs.
