Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets against Australia.

Bumrah's three for 61 were expensive numbers by his lofty standards but his last over, the penultimate of the match, showed just why he's so hard to get away with in the death overs.

Needing 44 to win in 12 balls, Bumrah mixed up his pace to slip in three consecutive dots against Alex Carey. It could've been four on the trot but for a slip-up from Dhoni behind the stumps cost the team two runs. A dot ensued and he ended his spell with a single.

His dismissals of Usman Khawaja, Coulter-Nile and Cummins thwarted Australia's surge in the middle overs. He had an able ally in seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

Kumar removed in-form Steve Smith and Marcus Stoinis in the same over to dent Australia's hopes while Chahal, though expensive, got rid of dangerous looking David Warner and Glenn Maxwell, who was threatening to take the game away from the Indians in the middle-overs.

The trio completed an all-round bowling performance which saw India move to the No. 3 spot in the points table with a 36-run win at The Oval.
