Rohit Sharma is again back on top as the highest run-scorer in World Cup 2019, when he went past Shakib Al Hasan's tally of 606 runs.
Rohit fell on 103 against Sri Lanka on Saturday and was comfortably leading the most runs table of World Cup 2019 with 647 runs.
During Bangladesh's final league game against Pakistan, Shakib pipped Rohit, David Warner and Aaron Finch to lead the runs table by batsmen.
Rohit has had an excellent run in this edition of the World Cup by having slammed four centuries, second after Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara to do so. After Shakib, Rohit is now the fourth batsman to score 600-plus runs in a single World Cup — Sachin Tendulkar (673 runs, 2003) and Matthew Hayden (659, 2007) being the other two.
With Bangladesh having not made it to the semifinals, it is now a three-way race between Rohit, Warner and Finch.
