A 3-0 sweep will lift England to 109 points, but it will remain behind India and South Africa, while the West Indies will remain in eighth position irrespective of how the matches pans out.

The outcome of the series between Australia and Sri Lanka will not affect the Baggy Greens' fifth position in the rankings. It will be the same for the visiting Sri Lankan side, which is ranked sixth in Tests.
