Visakhapatnam may have rolled out a sluggish surface for the opening Twenty20 International , but the KSCA expects a high-scoring encounter when India and Australia meet here on Wednesday.
"It's a sporting wicket," said R. Sudhakar Rao, secretary, KSCA. "It looks like a hard and bouncy wicket. My prediction is the team batting first should be able to be able get 180. It's a good surface and both the batsmen and bowlers should enjoy playing on it."
The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium can hold around 32,000 spectators, and a full house is expected at the second T20.
"Only a few tickets in the Rs. 20,000 category are remaining and we expect them to be snapped up by tomorrow (Tuesday); everything else is sold out," said KSCA spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya.
