Australia 164/2 after 27 overs: Smith is just all class as he guides Bumrah behind point for a boundary and Marnus Labuschagne is off the mark with a single.

Australia 157/2 after 26 overs: Brilliant from Shyeyas Iyer as he hits the bulls' eye with a direct hit from long-off and packs off Warner. India fighting back as both the set openers are back in the hut.

Australia 153/1 after 25 overs: Smith with a beautiful drive down the ground gets going and at a half-way stage, Australia in complete control.

Australia 145/1 after 24 overs: A couple of wickets here would bring India right back into this game as Smith and Warner are way too capable to go an attacking spree.

Australia 142/1 after 23 overs: Finally, India finds a breakthrough as Shami strikes to remove Finch. The opener closed his bat a bit early and the ball takes a leading edge as Kohli takes an easy catch at extra cover. Steve Smith, fresh from a century from the last game is back.

Australia 113/0 after 18 Overs: A quiet over that from Jaddu. Just four singles from it in the end.

Australia 109/0 after 17 Overs: Warner starting to call the shots now - shimmies down the track and clobbers a flighted Chahal delivery over long-on for six. Eight from the over.

Australia 101/0 after 16 Overs : Ravindra Jadeja, left arm orthodox, comes into the attack after the break. India need a wicket from somewhere. Good start from Jaddu. Six coming off it. This is now the fifth 100 plus partnership for Finch and Warner against India.

Drinks.

Australia 95/0 after 15 Overs: Chahal continues. A close run-out call off the first ball; Warner is just in. Good start to the over. Just one off the first three balls. And one off the next three. Just two off the over.

Australia 93/0 after 14 Overs: Finch starting to flex his muscles now. Collects 12 off this Bumrah over. Ominous signs for India once again.

Australia 81/0 after 13 overs: The run-rate is steady at 6 rpo and India will find it hard if it doesn't finds a breakthrough. Warner and Finch batting without much fuss as Chahal struggles to find turn.

Australia 71/0 after 11 overs: Second consecutive fifty for Warner and India once again finish the Powerplay without picking a wicket. This is going to hurt as both Warner and Finch are going great at the moment.

Australia 59/0 after 10 overs: Finch attacks Saini and he smacks him over mid-off for a boundary. However, the bowlers makes a little comeback to make it a seven-run over.

Australia 50/0 after 8 overs: Warner is in full flow and the fifty run stand is up for Australia. India needs a wicket.

Australia 41/0 after 7 overs: Saini needs to correct his length as the lack of movement isn't helping the bowler as Warner smacks him for couple of boundaries.

Australia 29/0 after 6 overs: Change of ends for Shami and he is keeping the pressure on the openers as he gives just two and Finch takes a single off the last ball to retain strike.

Australia 27/0 after 5 overs: Warner welcomes Saini with a maximum as he helps the back of length delivery with a neat pull over the deep square leg boundary and Australia off to a sedate start.

Australia 18/0 after 4 overs: Finch is up and running as Bumrah goes down the leh and the Australian captain flicks it over the backward square-leg for a boundary.

Australia 10/0 after 3 overs: Decent second over from Shami as he gives just six from his second over. The body language from the opening bowlers has been good as they have come with an attacking midset.

Australia 4/0 after 2 overs: Bumrah starts with a maiden over and India needs to pick wickets upfront.

Australia4/0 after 1 over: Warner is underway as he cuts Shami through the square and picks the first boundary. Shami bounces back to end the over with three dots.

Warner and Finch walk out to the middle. Shami to start proceedings with the new ball. A slip in place.

Toss Update: Aaron Finch has won the toss and elected to bat.

Virat Kohli: We have played enough 50 over cricket to pull up professionally. After the 30-over mark, the bodies started to stiffen up a little bit as we have not played a long game for a while. The guys have understood what we need to do right today. The second half was very encouraging even though we lost four wickets. The big partnership [between Dhawan and Pandya] kept us in the game. We can take a lot of positives from that. It's about covering up in the early part of the innings where we are not far behind because you don't wan't your bowlers to not have time, especially at the death. We are playing the same XI.

Aaron Finch: We are going to bat. Stoinis is out today, a little bit of niggle in his side. We don't want to push him too hard. Moises Henriques replaces him. The wicket was pretty good to be fair, got better with a bit of dew. Today, the wicket can get drier and slower as the game goes on.

Australia (Playing XI): Aaron Finch(c), David Warner, Steven Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques, Alex Carey(w), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood

India (Playing XI): Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli(c), Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal

Will India make changes to their playing XI? Who will replace Marcus Stoinis in Australia's playing XI? Team news out soon. We are less than 10 minutes away from the toss.

Squads:

India: Virat Kohli (captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul (vice-captain & wicket-keeper), Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Mayank Agarwal, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, T Natarajan.
