Shikhar Dhawan: Roped in as a last minute replacement for Murali Vijay, the Delhi batsman topped the run-scoring charts with 358 runs - which included two run-a-ball hundreds.

Ravichandran Ashwin: The off-spinner was the leading wicket-taker in the series with 17 scalps. He also averaged 44 with the bat, including a fluent 54 in the 2nd Test in Colombo.

Hardik Pandya: The flamboyant all-rounder capped off a debut-series to remember with a stunning maiden hundred in the 3rd Test - an innings which included eight 4s and seven 6s. He also chipped in with key wickets when entrusted with bowling duties.

Cheteshawr Pujara: Continuing on from the home season, India's number three put the Sri Lankan bowlers to the sword with two sublime centuries. He ended the series with 309 runs in only four innings.

Ravindra Jadeja: The left arm-spinner proved once again why he is the number one ranked Test bowler with 13 wickets in two Tests. He also showed his value with the bat in the 2nd Test where he scored an unbeaten 70.
