Cheteshwar Pujara, on Sunday, bettered Rahul Dravid's record for having faced the most balls in a Test innings by an Indian.
Dravid, in his marathon innings of 270 against Pakistan in Rawalpindi, faced 495 balls. Pujara, in Ranchi, was unbeaten on 186 against Australia when he faced the 496th ball of his innings.
